# Connect / Disconnect

### **Connect Gmail**

If your Gmail shows as **Disconnected**, click **Connect** on the right side of your name.\
Sign in with your Google account and allow Salesa to access your inbox through Google OAuth.\
Once connected, your status will update to **Connected,** and syncing will start automatically.

### **Disconnect Gmail**

If you want to stop syncing your emails, click **Disconnect**.\
Salesa will immediately stop reading new messages and remove access.\
Your existing data in Google Sheets will remain intact and visible to the team.

### **Best Practices**

* Make sure every active salesperson connects Gmail to keep pipeline data complete.
* If a member leaves the team, disconnect their Gmail before removing them.
* Keep at least one Admin connected to maintain integrations.
